Facebook better than Twitter???
To build your brand and promote it socially, the two largest social networks Facebook and Twitter offer really varied options. For publishing rich media, Facebook provides a better platform. The fact that you can’t use videos and photos to publish rich media with Twitter is the basic problem with it.
Not only does Facebook offer companies the ability to post videos, photos, audio and music but also allows interactive contents like discussion boards, polls and more that can be accessed easily. This is where I feel that compared to Twitter, Facebook offers a better platform for product promotions. What do you feel about

I think it really depends, I use both and use them differently. For Facebook I publish parts of my posts from my blog, so that people can read a preview and then go to my blog to read the rest, I also use twitter to do this put in the form of " New Post: New Nike Spring/Summer Shoes [link] ". But the main way I use Twitter is to network with other blogs and reach out to different audiences using the follow feature. For example, I get a lot of publicity thanks to the #FF (follow friday) where other blogs or people tell their followers to follow me. Another way I use Twitter is when I hold competitions or if something is going on, thanks to the re-tweet function it can reach a lot of different people.
Both have their advantages and I would recommend you use both, Digital marketing is becoming ever-more popular in the 21st century. However, it does depend on what your website is about.

“Part of why time spent on Twitter is so much less than time spent on Facebook has much to do with the design of these sites. Facebook encourages users to aggregate external content on Facebook to be viewed within the network, while Twitter encourages users to link externally, viewing content outside of the network.”
Infact advertising with Facebook Ads and joining relevant groups allows you to reach the exact audience.

From marketing point of view I have personally found facebook to be much more effective than twitter. The thing about twitter is that unless you have a good number of followers (and genuine ones) it is hard to promote anything.

Facebook or twitter see both the social networking sites stands for only fun. I dont understand why most of the "marketing internet guru" consider both side of business point of view.
IMO the appropriate way of connecting different people with the help of these social networking website.

I dont see why you have to choose one or the other. Make both a facebook page and a twitter account. Both have their strengths. The rule on the Internet is to be dynamic.

I agree with Uchida, why compare when you could maximize the benefit of both.I am sure the effects to your marketing would be great.
