The IRC
Hey guys,
Yes I know I am a new user here, but I've been checking the irc few times a day and there is actually no one ever on.
On another forums I use, in the irc, there is around 30-40 of us on everynight which has pretty much turned into a ritual where we just talk for fun and have fun. But I should say the forum has 380,185 registered members
I know everyone here wants this place to be different and so I do. If TalkFreelance really wants to be a community then the IRC is the best place to get to know each other.
Okay rant done
Thanks

I agree. There is hardly anyone ever online, except Salathe. I go online for a few hours a day and so do Trim, Gaz and Tom (can't remember full name), and we frequently have small talks, but I would appreciate if more people go active.

Talkfreelance just isn't that active at all. The spam to discussion ratio seems a little insane. What talkfreelance really needs is some new members, mix things up a little and generally offer more. I think a major cleanup would be good for talkfreelance.
Total Users: 24,452
However if you think that a large number of them arn't real.
Looking back now
Most users ever online was 1,714, 03-22-2005 at 04:49 PM.

Salathe is online everytime because he is logged with his server XD. I`m online when there is a chance I will answer, not making artifical traffic.
We just need more active members, atm there are like 3-5 ppl on IRC, but it`s more problem of TFL not our IRC channel ;p.

I promise to drop by more often (not really a chat person myself) once the Panorama tabs on Firefox start working without fail.

I wasn't even aware there was one.. Perhaps a link in one of the main navigations would help. There must be a web based client for IRC?

JRayers, I don't know of one, but most browsers can have an IRC extension installed. Opera's IRC client is built in.
