You know a little bit about the project I have underway - I'd love to apply for a role however I think I'll wait until I go live so you can see my writing style for yourself.
Could you give me a bit more information on product/gadget/software reviews? I know a fair amount in that sector, mainly software, so would love to write articles on that.

Hi imchewee, thanks for your interest! For reviews, I am hoping that with time there will be vendors out there interested in having their software/products/web-based apps reviewed. Perhaps not early on, but once we receive the right traction.
In the meantime, I though we could cover the gadget/software market in general, following popular tools and products that our audience might find interesting: from Macs to tablets to software/applications to mobile devices to cool gadgets like Noteslate.

Hi Jonathon, thank you for your enthusiasm in getting involved, but I will be looking for material and content that will stay exclusive to TalkFreelance.

I may be interested once I have the ball rolling with a couple of my own projects. Have skills in Photoshop, HTML/CSS, jQuery, Joomla integration, advanced WordPress integration and currently doing a degree in business.
Is this a TalkFreelance blog or a separate project you have?

It will be the TalkFreelance.com blog with select writers participating.
By the way, if you (or anyone else) have an idea for the blog structure/theme to be used, please let us know here!

Update: I am overwhelmed with the response as I have received nearly 30 applications for the blog writer position so far. I am trying to get back to people as fast as I can and interview each applicant. Just want to let you guys know that it takes time to go through resumes, read submitted work portfolio and structure the direction for the blog, so delays might happen in getting back to you!
However, I am very excited about the future of the blog as I have already landed a few very interesting writers who are slowly starting to write and submit their initial stories for feedback.
It is never late to join the gang if you find yourself to be an expert on one of the freelance/entrepreneurial fields.
