First post in this thread, and i'm simply going to say two things. Firstly I am opposed to the death penalty entirely, it's a disgusting act and should be eradicated worldwide, therefore killing Saddam Hussein, however many people he may have killed himself, is wrong.

Your support for your village-idiot president offends me. If you are offended by other people's opinions why not go somewhere other than a forum.

A forum is intended to be a place to share opinions, comments, discussion and criticism, and if you're offended by any of those you shouldn't be here.

Finally, an un-important note: it's impossible to have more than 100% support for something, although i'm sure you didn't mean that literally.

Isn't Democracy great! Bryan Le can support Bush 110% and Electrohead can support the other party 100%. And no one goes to jail or gets executed for it!

You gotta love it. Do everything you can to keep that right you have to disagree with freedom.

I believe that saddam deserved what he got, and no more. We must not sink down to his level, if we do what better are we then him?

offtopic: Dont turn this into anything about bush, it will turn into a flame war and headache on my part.

This is gunna provoke so much more violence in Iraq now. I'm pretty sure it would have been a better idea to give him life imprisonment in a high-security jail.

That isn't my point, the point is I wouldn't want to put a mass murder' like Saddam, in a prison i'd be paying taxes for. I don't know for sure if citizens have to pay taxes in Iraq though.

Like all the people on Death Row here, we have to pay for them to get there good meals and all that crap.

Just proves that justice moves much more swifter outside of our country =/ He'd still be waiting for it in one of our jails if it was us.
