Hi Jenn,
I had a little bit of free time and felt like experimenting with a new logo, so I chose yours! I know, it's not "edgy" (in fact it goes against what you specified!) but since no-one else has entered anything yet, and I usually like to be the first to get the ball rolling, here is my idea.

Thanks for getting it started Salathe.
Here would be my concerns with this one:
1. I think the shade of blue is probably a little too light to compliment the rest of the site. Also, being so light blue might make it look a little washed out on a white background when we do stickers, tees, etc.
2. I'm also not crazy about that font. And when we write the name of the webzine, we usually write it with a capital A and X. (AudioXposure.com) Sorry I didn't mention the capitalization earlier.
Nice entry to get it rolling. Thanks again!
Jenn

Here's my entry It has a very easily adjustable color scheme and easily transfers to different backgrounds, slogan may be added upon request.

Nice submissions.
I'd really like to see some blue incorporated to go better with the site's general color scheme; also because I think it would be more attractive when we use it for promotional merch.
We do occasionally abbreviate the site to AX, but I'd like the final logo to incorporate the full name instead, simply because we're trying to build up name recognition.
They do have a nice clean modern look to them though.
Thanks!
Jenn

I still wouldn't be able to use the AX logo idea. But I do like the other one better. The shade of blue I think is a bit light. It almost looks like a purple-ish on the black background.
I hadn't thought of tying together the A and the X in a full-name logo, so you gave me something good to think about.
Not directed at you, but to everyone: keep in mind that I'm leaning towards keeping the ".com" in the logo, mostly because we'll be releasing a print edition likely early 2007, and I want to make sure the site logo clearly differentiates itself as a web publication.
Thanks!
Jenn
