pxs - I like that one much more with the signal scaled down
jewel - Looks cool with the way you made the e reverseable
ispec - I like that 3-D effect on it, looks good
nor - I like your 3rd version the best!
This is going to be a very hard decision with all these great entries. Thanks everyone!

draft 3:
New concept, based on the old, except including the W and making it more based off of the initial concept you've laid out for us.

is it just me...
or is it better to wait til the very end to submit something in here? Just looking at a few of the entries, I feel that some original ideas like what ispec did is being copied by nor...I also feel that my idea of the three lines going off my second entry were copied by him/her. I know that we all sort of risk that by submitting entries, but I feel that if you are going to submit to something like this, you should do your best and own work.
I tried my best to just use my own ideas, and as you can see my first attempt, went in a direction that no one else had and, in my opinion, did a great job, although not what was being looked for. I know I based my second idea off of what wirelessretail said in the comments section, but that only made me look for something different and still fit in with what he is looking for.
I pride myself in my designs, because I am a graphic artist. I know a lot of people on here come on to find templates or whatever, and there have been some people in this thread make designs and say, im not a logo designer...
I guess I am rambling, but still, stealing designs and only bettering by a little is cheap. It's only 40bucks, if you dont have your own ideas, dont steal other peoples.
Sorry for sounding harsh, but some may think that nor is stealing and breaking copyright intelectual property laws.

I wasn't going to mention it but jonathan did and I did personally feel infringed upon after seeing the last entry by nor, however, he did "modify" a few parts to it. Going into a contest you need to assume the risks of submitting early, and if the other guy wins, life goes on I suppose. Although I'm glad that some light was brought to it, I didn't want to feel like I was the only one who thought it was crossing the line.

i dont feel like I copied anything, i did not "copy and paste" anything, my work is completely original.
This is a very narrow design job and in this kind of environment it is very likely to see similar concepts, at the end it just comes down to the customer's opinion.
If you can't see that you will have a hard time in this field

I dont know how experienced you are, but I have been a graphic designer for over three years professionally. I know that this is a narrow design job and that the client is looking for something specific, but I still dont think that the designs should look as close as yours do to others, and mine. I didnt say you copy and pasted the designs, but used them as direct inspiration to what you designed.
You still should be ashamed...

Move on guys. Leave the thread open for submissions, not a personal fight. Contact nor himself or Robson if you still have a problem.

Im sorry if I offended anybody,
heres my second entry, everybody feel free to get inspired, feel free to improve on this concept.
Design and art in general is about the exchange of ideas, mutualism is a huge part of it.

Hello everyone, today is the last day for the contest. The winner will be announced later after I have a discussion with my partner. Thank you to everyone for their entries and great work. This will not be as easy as I thought.
